EducationEducation is a crucial component of the Idaho Humane Society's mission to advocate for the welfare and responsible care of animals, protect them from neglect and cruelty, and promote humane awareness and compassion. Summer Programs: Friends for Life CampClick here to learn about a unique opportunity for students ages 9 to 12 years of age to learn all about the shelter and various types of animals during a 4 day long summer camp. IHS Out in the Community: Classroom Visits & Civic PresentationsThe IHS can provide a speaker for civic groups, clubs, and classrooms on a variety of pet related topics, including dog bite prevention presentations that are geared towards teaching young students safety with animals.
