Volunteer & Foster Classes

Volunteers are required to attend volunteer orientation classes before they start volunteering. These classes focus on learning about the shelter and its programs and safe animal handling at the shelter. Several classes are offered each month.

Advance registration is required. Please contact the Volunteer Program by phone at 331-8553 or email Volunteer@idahohumanesociety.org to receive a schedule or to register for classes.

Foster parent orientation classes are offered on Saturdays at noon. Please contact the foster office at 342-3508 ext. 2228 or email the Foster Coordinators.
